Clark Esplin
Clark is the son of Tom Esplin and was born in St Andrews, Scotland in 1941. In 1955 the Esplin family came to New Zealand.
Clark was educated at John McGlashan College, Dunedin Teachers Training College and the University of Otago.
He has been an Artist and Art Teacher since 1962, and he is a life member of the Canterbury Society of Arts. He is widely travelled and many of his paintings reflect his enthusiasm for Europe and his love of the sea. His work has been seen in solo exhibitions and in group shows throughout this country. Clark is a respected artist whose work in watercolour and acrylic has wide appeal.
